Previously, divers had to purchase a dedicated slip tip for Dyneema and a separate slip tip for stainless steel cable. Now-one slip tip does it all.
The universal rigging system is achieved by increasing the overall diameter of the slip tip point from 9mm to 10mm, and machining a polished slot capable of accommodating either:
Double-spliced 2mm dyneema rigging, or a single 18mm crimp for 2.5mm 316 stainless steel cable
The slot is deep enough to allow either two short crimps or one long crimp to sit neatly within the body of the slip tip; while preserving structural integrity, and maintaining an extremely low profile
. 
This streamlined design preserves the slip tip’s hydrodynamic efficiency and helps improve penetration on large, hard-to-penetrate fish.

Designed for Demanding Conditions
Divers who hunt in shark-infested waters know that a stainless steel cable slip tip is often essential. However, stainless steel cable can deform relatively quickly after fighting one or two large fish due to the material’s limited memory, often requiring replacement.
Dedicated replacement cable assemblies can be expensive and difficult to source, particularly in remote locations. With this slip tip, you can easily replace the cable yourself using 2.5mm stainless steel cable, the correct crimps, and suitable crimping pliers, saving both time and money.
A deformed cable can negatively affect spear shaft trajectory and reduce shaft speed, resulting in decreased accuracy and overall performance.
